Such difficult choices lie ahead. Personally I am a massive fan of the Dragon Age Core Rulebook, Lone wolf and Degenesis.
Dragon Age is just a ridiculously well thought of system with a massive background and endless possibilities of implementations into various roleplay campaigns. I’ve been a fan of Dragon Age Origins since it came out and I feel Chris Pramas and everyone at Green Ronin have captured the atmosphere and mystery of that game really well.

Lone Wolf obviously rests on years of stories and books but what Cubicle 7 have done so well is simplify the roleplaying system they use for it. The random dice rolls through tossing a token into the box adds to the fun of it all and the stories have many options for improvisation and imagination.

Degenesis is an absolute beauty. I’ve never been a big fan of the post-apocalyptic genre, whether it’s zombies or non-crawlers. Degenesis changed this quite a bit. The way they described the different tribes and how they all approached life differently really spoke to me. Next to that the box you get when you order the books (and the books themselves) are about the biggest treasures I have amongst my role play books (perhaps the only item that trumps them is my Rise of the Runelords limited edition). And that also remains important to some of us rpg fanatics : sheer beauty of the product itself. The system is clever and very in-depth, with a big chunk of background info and history, and it really got me into the post-apocalyptic zombie genre.

So as said before: good luck on your decisions, this will be a tricky year I think!
