Fallout 4 Far Harbor DLC
The Fallout 4 Far Harbor DLC is the last one of the extensions announced by Bethesda so far and is also the priciest at $25, when the other two combined only required $15 to play. We will have the pleasure of playing this new addition on the 19th of May and it will be available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
While the Wasteland Workshop DLC only added design and craft features, Automatron brought us new quests, a new settlement and companions, but Fallout 4 Far Harbor will offer a much larger new area. They actually said that this will provide the largest area that Bethesda ever created for an add-on and there will be many new settlements, creatures and dungeons to discover as well as a conflict between several factions.
The story starts as a new case from Valentine’s Detective Agency putting you on the search for a missing young woman and you hear rumors of a secret synth colony. The action takes place off the Maine coast on the Far Harbor Island and this place was affected by radiation in a more significant way leading to a really hostile environment.
Aside from the local townspeople the main factions that dispute this land are the synths and the Children of Atom, each one with their own views and desires, so you can try to unite them, side with one or just have your own way in the typical Fallout manner.
Along the way you get access to many powerful new weapons and armor and hopefully the setting will be as rich and flavorful as the previous expansion. Automatron provided a lot of interesting content and you could play for around three hours to complete it, making us crave more content and we will soon have it with the Fallout 4 Far Harbor DLC. Bethesda released a new trailer to peak our interest and you can watch it below.
