Fallout 4 Nuka World
On the 30th of August we celebrate the release of the Fallout 4 Nuka World DLC but sadly this sixth expansion of the game will also be the last one Bethesda will release.
The Fallout 4 Nuka World DLC will be available on the same date for the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. It will take place in an abandoned amusement park with the same name as the expansion which isn’t so desolate anymore because raiders made their home here.
The developers brought together the post-apocalyptic vibe of the original Fallout games with the amusement park aesthetic that is reminiscent of Disneyland combined with Five Nights at Freddy’s but spiced with the typical dark humor that comes with a nuclear disaster.
You can become the leader of a raider gang and start overtaking different settlements with your new army and of course there are many new quests, enemies to defeat and weapons to discover. The new areas you can walk through are the Kiddie Kingdom, the Dry Rock Gulch, the Galactic Zone, Nuka Town, the World of Refreshment and the Safari Adventure.
If you have the $50 Fallout 4 DLC Pass then you will get this new expansion as well, but if you want to get just this one, or bought the others individually then you will have to pay $20 for it and given that it’s the last new thing we will probably see in the wasteland for some time we recommend that you take full advantage of it.
To give you a hint of what to expect in this new DLC, the developers released a trailer which you can watch below and you also get to hear the theme song for the Nuka World, which has the same irony we are used to from the Fallout games: “a park with every minimum acceptable safety standard met.”
