Mad Catz R.A.T.1
Mad Catz R.A.T.1 is one of the most amazing devices for gaming since it permits an extremely large amount of customization and it was honored at the CES 2016 Innovations awards.
Designed specifically for gaming and virtual reality, the R.A.T. series was launched five years ago and they all focused on versatility. This high-performance mouse comes with a 3500dpi Pixart PMW 3320 optical sensor to allow you to make the most minute movements and if the R.A.T. PRO series would set you back $200, this one costs only $29.99!
The design is minimalistic and efficient with a modular concept and options for 3D printing to personalize it further and make it as you choose. The skeletal Tripod Chassis of the Mad Catz R.A.T.1 is detachable and you can remove the Sensor Module to transform it into a much smaller travel mouse that you can take anywhere.
There are six programmable buttons and the DPI range goes from 250 to 3500. You need a USB 2.0 port to plug it in and it works on Windows 7 or newer versions. Due to the simple aesthetic it only weighs 50 grams so you won’t get tired too soon when wielding it through your games. The design of the Mad Catz R.A.T.1 is created as ambidextrous so you can use it with either arm without any disadvantage
The Palm Rest can be customized in any form you want with the 3D CAD Modelling Data so that the one you print out will fit your palm perfectly. The developers intend to bring additional options to it as well with new chassis colors, new Sensor Modules and other 3D printable files that will truly make it your own.
Although the pictures show several colors available you can only order the green version for now and you can learn more about it or buy one here.
